Once you have intimated us about the loss, AIB customer support team will assist you with the entire claim process. You will receive a claim initiation reference number via SMS. You will also receive an email containing the following documents to be filled by you to register your claim:
Once your claim documents & device are ready, please courier the claim documents to AIB at the address shared with you via SMS or email.
AIB support team will run a quality check on the documents provided by you. In case of any discrepancy, you will receive an email and SMS notification.
Once the documents pass the quality check, they will be sent to the insurance company to process the claim.
After the claim is sanctioned by the insurance company, you will receive an SMS and an email about the insurance advice on the claim.
Once the claim is approved you need to send the salvage (accessories that came with the device) and the filled NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) form for payment.
If your claim is rejected, you will receive a formal letter explaining the reason behind the rejection from the insurance company on the address provided by you in the claim form.
